The hotel was refreshingly cool during a hot weekend. The room was spacious and well equipped with coffee and tea facilities. Its location was very convenient for attending a nearby wedding, and its proximity to a restaurant made it easy to grab breakfast.
The hotel's reception area was small and unwelcoming, lacking seating for guests waiting to be served. the hotel seemed to attract a rowdy crowd outside the neighboring pub, which made arriving and leaving a little uncomfortable.

Spent Easter weekend at this hotel and enjoyed its clean and well-appointed rooms. the choice of a ground or first-floor room was a nice touch, and we opted for the former. the room was of good specification and had all the amenities required for a comfortable stay. It was quiet at night and we had a great night's sleep. the hotel's proximity to the city center and frequent bus links made getting around a breeze. the restaurant next door was a bonus, and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast.
Although overall, the hotel was great, we noticed some areas in need of updating, such as the carpets, which could use a refresh. the reception area was accessed via a strange little door, which could deter some guests.
